Pros: Nice facility and good location. Short walking distance from Caltrain.

Cons: Lots of incompetent people in upper management love to belittle and overwork their employees. I've lost respect for upper management. The COO doesn't do anything but complain about dirty dishes. Like, seriously? Is that your only contribution? Thank God having real skills matter. Just because you have an MBA doesn't mean you know everything.

Pros: Fast-moving company. Friendly coworkers. The company is critical to the internet, so it's not as at risk as other companies during a downturn.

Cons: The company is kind of cheap. There are no job titles for Senior, Staff, etc. engineers to reflect levels.

Pros: - Lots of impressively smart, educated, and experienced people. - Lots of innovation and future-thinking. - Remote work is genuine and allows for work-life balance. Note: I left voluntarily and on good terms.

Cons: - Virtually no career paths. - Zero employee review process with feedback from management. - Lacks tuition reimbursement, 401k matching, and wellness funds. - Promotes people to management who cause chaos and are generally abusive. - Finger-pointing and deflecting blame is common practice. - Nerd bullies are beloved and rewarded. - CEO is rather emotional and moody. - Total chaos overall. Tech culture, especially in engineering, is already tough enough, but this place seems to be reversing course with all of the improvements people have been striving to achieve over the years.
