- Reasonable work-life balance compared to the rest of the Bay Area.
- Friendly coworkers.
- Generally good managers and skip-level managers.
- Growth opportunities for senior folks can be difficult, depending on the team you are on.
- Company culture is declining overall, with less motivation and passion.
- Headcount for some teams feels mismatched in terms of business impact. You may end up either not having much to do or too much. Do your research.
- Compensation is not as competitive due to declining stock; ed tech is a difficult industry in this economy.
- Do not have very high confidence in the vision for the company/product. There is some hope, but the company is still figuring things out, and it can be very draining and chaotic for employees.
