Pros: Lots of flexibility around work hours, time off, etc. Great, friendly people who are understanding and genuinely willing to help. Team spirit: People show up to work to help one another. There is no competitive tension among colleagues. Managers and senior executives are intentional about investing in Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiatives, like in ERGs and attending D&I conferences, etc. Lots of online training platforms are available for personal growth in non-technical areas like project management, etc. Innovation: A simplified IP development process. Engineering organizations promote innovative engineers, from all experience levels, to take on developing patents.

Cons: There is not a lot of structure around new hires. There is no real "buddy" system in place to help new employees navigate their first couple of months, especially college graduates. There are very minor bumps in salary for staying in the same role, notwithstanding performance. One will need to change roles to see any significant salary bumps.

Pros: Laid back. Just make sure you do all of your work.

Cons: There's nothing but snakes and people who will backstab you in a heartbeat. They also pay the least in all of tech!

Pros: Good work-life balance and peer support.

Cons: Not many cons to share.
