Overall, a great company with a bright future
DraftKings is committed to making sure that everyone contributes to the business initiatives and makes an impact, including their interns. The company does a great job making everyone feel welcome and a part of the team.
As an intern, I was able to work within the normal team dynamic, bring a feature from the planning stages (where I wrote my own tech plan) all the way to being shipped, learn new technologies, and give input in every meeting I took part in.
Sometimes the company's bias for action means that code can be left undocumented, poorly tested, or otherwise sub-optimally maintained.
The engineering onboarding process has room for improvement.
Make sure to dedicate some resources to maintainability. Keep up the ambitious goals.

Software Engineering Intern
There is an OA and a 1-hour VO. The interviewer is nice. The VO is about discount assignment, and there are four tasks to implement. The interviewer cares about the time complexity, so coming up with an efficient solution is important.

The first step is an online coding test. The time is long enough, and the problem is not hard to complete. The second step is a technical interview. The interviewer is friendly, and the question is well-defined.

There is an OA given, probably creating an org chart. Then you get invited to an hour-long technical interview. No behavioral questions were asked; it was just one question with parts. I ran out of time, so I would say just be efficient with solving
