Pros: Nice people, good staff. Yeah.

Cons: Low pay, low bonus.

Pros: Pick up a lot of new technical stuff, and everyone treats you with respect.

Cons: I was told I was on track this whole time and I did get a "meet expectation" result at the end, like everyone else who gets a return offer. Both my lead and buddy are surprised about the result. Compared to the amount of work I have done with others, I can fairly say that my achievement is as good as theirs. Also, I still don't know what led to not hiring me, and which area I should specifically improve in the future.

Pros: DraftKings is committed to making sure that everyone contributes to the business initiatives and makes an impact, including their interns. The company does a great job making everyone feel welcome and a part of the team. As an intern, I was able to work within the normal team dynamic, bring a feature from the planning stages (where I wrote my own tech plan) all the way to being shipped, learn new technologies, and give input in every meeting I took part in.

Cons: Sometimes the company's bias for action means that code can be left undocumented, poorly tested, or otherwise sub-optimally maintained. The engineering onboarding process has room for improvement.
