QA Manager Interview Experience - Canada

Process

The process was bad from the very beginning. First of all, it seems there is some issue with postings – they add and remove the same positions back and forth.

After about two months of applying, I was contacted by HR.

During the call, HR started by suggesting another similar position. HR was not knowledgeable and was not able to explain the difference between the two positions.

The next interview with the hiring managers was not good as well:

  • One of the guys was remote, and we spent 10 minutes trying to bring him to the call.
  • The interview overall was not nice – interviewers were cutting me off.

There was a strong feeling that their time is important and yours is not. I think these guys interview many candidates, though it should not be an excuse.

I did not like the experience at all.
