Pros: Some cool people and presentations, and good benefits.

Cons: I ended up working on areas I was not as comfortable with and misjudged by the way I performed on them, even though I wasn't underperforming at any point. They also try to sell the "here we are all open for everybody, tell us if you want to switch areas" but when you tell them, they use it as a weapon to fire you in layoffs later on.

Pros: Some cool people and presentations, and good benefits.

Cons: I ended up working on areas I was not as comfortable with and misjudged by the way I performed on them, even though I wasn't underperforming at any point. They also try to sell the "here we are all open for everybody, tell us if you want to switch areas" but when you tell them, they use it as a weapon to fire you in layoffs later on.

Pros: Depending on the project you're on, you may have ownership over your work and have to tackle interesting problems. Good benefits program, including gym reimbursement, sport events, health insurance, stocks and yearly bonus, and free EA games. Mostly good teammates that are easy to get along with. You get to work on the largest AAA games out there, which helps with your resume.

Cons: Depending on the project you're on, you may have to work on very simple features with virtually no ownership over your work. Upper management is almost always not local and considers Romania as a disposable outsourcing studio, even though they may not say that directly.

Pros: Good work environment. Crunch time exists, but it's not as often as others purport it to be. I really enjoyed working with my team and felt like everything I was working on was important.

Cons: With any large company, there are bureaucracy issues.
