I applied online, then was asked to have a phone call with a member of the team. This was followed by taking a rigorous online assessment, then a final round several hours long (virtual). After that, I received an invitation to visit campus, and then the offer.

Job security.
A lot of growth opportunities, both in terms of acquiring knowledge/skills as well as advancing in role/responsibility.
Good benefits, including salary and stock options.
Cons: Steep learning curve! You'll get real responsibility quickly, but the first year will be a constant challenge as you get oriented in fundamental knowledge.
High risk for burnout. Your experience may vary based on project/role assignments, but it's not uncommon for people to be overstaffed (e.g., staffed 10 hours to a project that realistically requires significantly more time to do a satisfactory job).
Minimal WFH flexibility and relatively low PTO/paid holidays for the first two years.
