Process
Short, casual phone call discussing my interest in the company and the day-to-day experience of working at Epic. The interview was with a developer, not with Human Resources, so we were able to talk about the technical side.

Software Engineer • Former Employee
Verona, Wisconsin, United States
June 13, 2023
Pros: The campus looks incredible and is a joy to walk around (when it's warm enough to do so).
Every other employee I met was competent and friendly.
Generally, a very nice work environment.
Cons: Expect high amounts of micromanagement. All time spent is tracked down to 15-minute increments and can be reviewed by your boss to investigate discrepancies. There's a constant flow of information and check-ins to make sure progress is moving as expected.
Workload varies team to team. Some critical teams should expect to be working late consistently, even outside of designated crunch time.
