Pros

The culinary options and health insurance are excellent, and there is a lot of freedom in the kind of work you want to focus on. You can be anything from a Jack of All Trades to a super niche specialist.

Cons

For a software company, the expectation of always being in the office (no remote work) is strange. It does build a stronger culture, but it limits your schedule and restricts your lifestyle. The non-compete is also incredibly limiting if you plan to stay in healthcare after leaving Epic.
