After applying via their website, I received an email several days later from someone in HR, asking when I would be available for a phone interview. After setting up the interview, they also emailed me information about Epic's technical assessment,

There was an initial phone screen with a developer who asked basic questions: How'd you learn about Epic? Why are you interested in the position? Are you willing to relocate to Madison? Etc. Nothing too probing or demanding, and no technical question
