Process
I was contacted by a recruiter and set up for a 1-hour technical phone screen. The session was on Google Hangouts, I believe. The interviewer was very cool and tried to help when I was blocked.
He mentioned it was okay to not get the coding question completed, as only two or three candidates so far had cracked it in 40 minutes.
However, it is important to complete it, as I think only those two or three candidates likely progressed to the next round.
Questions
15-20 minutes of technical questions based on skill sets. Spring DI, IOC (not remembering a couple of other Spring/Java questions).
Then 40 minutes for a coding question, LeetCode-like. Question: Print a 2D array matrix in spiral form.
