Pros
  1. The company has an office in the Skyview Hyderabad building near Biodiversity Park. The office is quite new, and the decor and office staff are impeccable.

  2. Flexi time and good WFH facilities are available. (It's okay to take [WFH] once or twice a month; more than that, you will get eyed by your manager).

  3. The pantry is excellent, with all kinds of cookies, soft drinks, snacks, fruits, and different variants of coffees at your disposal.

  4. Some teams are doing work in bleeding-edge technology.

  5. One of the best paymasters in this sector.

  6. Fundoo Friday (previously known as Beer Friday). The company shifted to a new SEZ building where alcoholic consumption is prohibited inside the building. You have to get settled with DIY indoor games every alternate Friday.

Cons
  1. Higher management (aka director, VP) puts no transparency in their decisions, which puts them in the bad books of the employees.

For example, there was a time when a woman made misbehaving allegations against some higher management people. They fired the woman and poker-faced the situation as if nothing happened. People were left clueless.

  1. The middle management team (aka senior managers, managers) has no power vested in them. All they do is resource allocation and convey messages from higher management to subordinates, which is anyway conveyed over email or town hall meetings.

  2. The only time you will get recognized is during appraisals, and the increments are not very happening.

  3. Interview standards are really low as per the salary provided. They should strengthen their hiring policy and put some regulations over the process.

  4. Some teams are blessed with good work, but their products don't perform well in the market. Some teams are working on boring legacy products, but they are the breadwinners of the company.

  5. The Agile Manifesto: The company has invested heavily to embed SAFe practices in the company DNA. There is a whole bunch of scrum masters who schedule/cancel meetings all day long and ask you, "Do you have any blockers?" each and every day. They also draw a heavy paycheck for this.
