The interview process took about one week and consisted of three technical rounds and one Hiring Manager Round.
1st Round: Resume walk-through and a system design question. You will be given a problem statement and need to come up with the code-level design to solve that problem. The solution needs to be easily scalable and understandable.
2nd Round: This is the domain knowledge and ops excellence round. Questions will be asked in depth about the work you are doing at your current company.
3rd Round: This is the toughest round I've faced, regarding problem-solving and troubleshooting. Real-time problems will be given, and you need to explain the steps you would take to identify and handle them. You are also expected to propose system-level changes to prevent the occurrence of those problems in the future.
The last round is the Hiring Manager Round, mostly behavioral questions that need to be answered carefully.
Design an alert manager kind of tool.
Explain in detail about your current work.
Design a log exporter tool, and some troubleshooting-related questions.
