Pros

The culture of my immediate department, team, and management cared about each team member personally and preached and practiced good work-life balance. The immediate area wants to do good for the company and works very well to care for and upskill each other.

Cons

Upper management and executives have no clue how to lead or what the actual issues are at the individual contributor level. They are focused on the next "big" org restructure and lining their pockets while laying off top performers.

The company keeps having major recalls and issues, but management has their heads in the clouds instead of fixing issues right in front of them.

Advice to Management

Upper management and executives need their salaries cut so they are more in tune with the average worker's situation. They really do not do enough more than individual contributors to warrant such high pay.
