I was sent an e-mail with 16 majority technical questions. This was unusual to me.
One question was about salary expectation and another was if I would relocate without any relocation assistance. I said it depends on the offer and that I like to relocate.
The second interview was a phone interview with the same HR lady. She asked, "What if I give you 10k more and let you work from where you live?" I was thrilled to hear that! I said that could be great!
She said, "I will check with the Manager." This was again very unusual.
Two days later, I got an e-mail rejecting the offer.
This is my third time experiencing rejection in different ways, but each time I felt tricked by HR. I was willing to take the job and willing to relocate as well.
GE will be my very last choice from now on, since any biggest outsourcing employers are my very last choice.
