Pros: Great work-life balance and a pretty good work atmosphere.

Cons: Pay is good, but could be better in regards to experience level. I found that GM pays lower than the other OEMs; however, the bonus is good but does not offset the pay differential compared to other OEMs. You have to be good at "GM" systems and "GM" politics in order to advance. You can be an expert in your field of study; however, if you can't navigate all the GM systems, understand the GM hierarchy, understand the legacy systems and all the bureaucracy, it is very hard to advance, no matter what credentials you have. If you are not brought in at a people leader position, you will most likely have to work for 5-10 years before you can move up.

Pros: A global company with diverse opportunities.

Cons: Bureaucracy that can sometimes deter work efficiency.

Pros: Excellent technical and commercial training, friendly and helpful team.

Cons: Priorities often shuffled, creating unnecessary noise in the system.
