I got my interview through my school's career fair. I had two interviews. Both interviews were one-on-one in a private room. The first was behavioral questions, and then 2-4 weeks later, the second was technical questions given by a GM project manager.
Questions
Model a list of European cars in kilometer/gallon and USA cars in miles per gallon, using the same list.

Pros: The salary is higher than average. You will find that different people are on different packages depending on when they joined GM.
Cons: There are a lot of politics, and things generally take a long time to get done. IT is not as state-of-the-art as you would think for such a large company. A lot of what is going on right now will need to be replaced in a few years to bring it up to modern tech standards.
