Cons

I would like to share an experience from my time at General Motors. Unfortunately, it was not what I had expected, and it turned out to be a difficult phase in my career.

During my time there, I faced challenges due to a lack of clear structure and transparency in their processes. The training modules and assessments often lacked proper guidelines, leaving employees unsure about what was expected. Despite my efforts to perform well, I found myself struggling in an environment that did not provide enough clarity or support.

What has been especially disheartening for me is how this situation affected my career. The company terminated my employment, and my visa was cancelled, leaving me to start over. It has been a challenging journey, and based on my experience, I would not recommend General Motors as an ideal workplace for anyone looking for long-term growth and professional support.

However, I believe every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow. I am determined to move forward and focus on new beginnings with organizations that value clear communication, structured processes, and employee development.

If you’ve faced similar struggles or have any advice, I would love to hear your thoughts. Let’s connect and grow together.

Advice to Management

It’s important to have clear guidelines for training and assessments.

Employees should know exactly what’s expected of them and how they can succeed.

This can help avoid confusion and make everyone feel more confident about their work.
