Job security is excellent. The light duty pickup is not going anywhere. GM continues to pour money into its money maker.
Union mentality can be a burden. But it's a lot better than 25 years ago!

Engineer
Two interviews, nice lady, followed the STAR method of interviewing.
Controls Engineer Intern
One interview only. Asked all behavior questions. Mostly about being part of a team. Very simple and straightforward. No complaints. The interview was about 45 minutes long with two engineers on the call.
Software Engineer
I got an online assessment which was full of bit-masking related type of questions. I did not get a reply from them afterwards. I guess I did not pass.
