This was, by far, the most unusual and bizarre interview process I have been a part of.
To start, it lasted almost three months with just one interview round.
The first round was with a senior engineer and an engineering manager. It lasted about an hour, with questions about my previous roles, some design questions, and a few technical scenario-based questions.
It went well, and I was invited for a second round (which never happened). On the day of the interview, I was informed that the panel came across some urgent work and would have to reschedule. After this, I had multiple follow-ups with the recruiter regarding the interview. Three months after the initial discussion, I was informed that the position had been put on hold.
Scenario-based troubleshooting questions.
Questions about current as well as previous roles.
High-level system design.
