Process

The interview process consisted of several stages:

  • The first interview was a conversation with the recruiting manager (TL).
  • The second was a system design and architecture interview. This had two parts: first, describing a system/feature I was a significant part of, and second, designing a solution for specific team-related requirements.
  • Following this, I received a home assignment with a 24-hour deadline. This task, related to calendar functionality, took approximately 3 hours to complete.
  • The third interview involved a code review and a discussion of the home assignment.
  • The fourth interview was with HR.
  • Subsequently, recommendations were requested from past managers and/or colleagues.
  • The final stage was the offer meeting.

One of these interviews was intended to be onsite, with the rest conducted via Zoom.

I had a positive experience throughout the process. It was very transparent from both sides, and the people I met were great, friendly, and humane.
