Process
Succession of interviews with:
- Recruiter
- A site director
- A developer for a technical interview
- A series of 5 interviews with:
- A manager to discuss management
- A tech lead
- A manager to discuss technical aspects (e.g., large-scale deployment issues, typical of problems encountered at Google)
- 2 developers to discuss code and technical aspects (code review in my case)
The whole process took place in a very, very good atmosphere, where one can see that Google seeks to place the candidate in a situation where they can give their best, unlike other companies that tend to try to trick the candidate.
Therefore, the overall assessment is very, very positive. Even if not selected, one leaves the process feeling very happy and satisfied with the experience.
