Process

The initial communication came through a recruiter reaching out and starting the process.

Had two initial rounds focusing on leadership fundamentals, which covered basic people management and code review. In the code review, a snippet of code was provided, and the expectation was to find bugs and issues.

This was followed by another three rounds:

  • Non-abstract system design: The expectation was to provide a high-level system design, including the system specifications needed.
  • Troubleshooting: Candidates were given a hypothetical situation and asked to determine potential causes for issues.
  • Gogglyness round: This was a behavioral interview.

The recruiter was super friendly and walked through the interview details and the interviewer's expectations.
