This is the worst hiring experience I have ever had.

1. They leak your data. Firstly, someone contacted me on LinkedIn asking why I wanted to apply. Then, she disappeared for three days. Suddenly, someone else contacted me on Skype, telling me I had passed the "screening process" and they wanted to schedule an interview.

I wrote my availabilities, and we agreed on a date, but I received no confirmation email – nothing.

A day before the scheduled interview, a third person sent a Google Calendar invitation. It lacked any job reference, description of the interviewers, or the objective of the interview; it was just a time slot in my calendar.

1. They are unprofessional. On the interview day, I waited for 20 minutes in the chat room, but no one appeared. I don't know what happened, but he just said that no one had booked him in the calendar, so he didn't know he was supposed to interview me. Seriously?

He didn't introduce himself and immediately asked if I was ready to code. The questions were not difficult, but the interviewer didn't know how to explain them. They just went through it like a machine (and someone else in Singapore will audit it, blah blah).

1. They are hiring coding machines. They don't care about your explanation of the code; they don't care about your background; they don't explain the meaning behind the tasks. It's just an exam, and the "inspectors" don't explain anything.

I was so disappointed with Grab. Stay away from this company if you have a junior profile and want to grow with the company. No, they just want a coding machine, that's all.
