The first round was a casual call with HR, which was more of a culture fit check. For the next step, I was asked to do a coding task by sharing my screen. It was one hour long.

I solved the problem, but HR disconnected the call in a hurry and didn't even ask me to submit the solution. I then emailed her, asking how the team was going to assess my assignment since she hadn't asked me to submit it by mailing the solution or uploading it to any platform.

She replied, "I apologize for this. You should have emailed me the solution immediately. Since it's been more than an hour now, I don't know if you made any changes to your solution. Hence, I can't accept your solution because it would be unfair."

It was a coding round. The problem was to make an API call in Node.js and print something based on the response.
