Software Engineer, Backend Interview Experience - New York, New York
Process
I applied online for the role of Backend Engineer.
I was sent an online test on Codility, which had three questions ranging from easy to medium. I scored 92% and received an email from a recruiter stating they wanted to continue with my candidacy.
Next, I had a 30-minute meeting scheduled with the recruiter. She was 10 minutes late and only allocated 10 minutes for the meeting.
Following that, my batch interview was scheduled, which consisted of two interviews: one coding interview and one system design interview.
It has been 10 days since the interviews, and I still haven't heard from them regarding the outcome. I have sent multiple emails to the recruiter and the coordinator, but neither has replied.
This has been the worst interview experience ever. I have never had to chase a recruiter to find out the outcome of an interview after clearing three rounds. It's very disappointing.

It was also very interesting to learn about the company's structure. The sharing sessions provided by interns and employees from other teams gave me an insight into what each team does.Cons: Laptop equipment took 3 weeks to arrive. It was difficult to contact the mentors sometimes due to workload. Working from home during COVID made it impossible to meet the team face-to-face and I could not experience the office environment.
