Process
The recruitment process consisted of four stages and took approximately two to three weeks.
- The first two stages involved live coding. The first focused on general programming skills, while the second was more focused on problem-solving.
- The third interview was split into two parts: the first half was technical (system design), and the second half focused on soft skills (teamwork).
- The final interview was primarily soft skills-based, with questions about behavior in different situations.
The feedback loop could have been better. I was denied based on the outcome of the first stage (it did not go as well as I had hoped, and I have no hard feelings), so I am unsure why I was invited for the other three interviews.

Cons: Group layoffs - the entire branch was closed less than a year after its creation (due to COVID-19 problems).
Lack of clear communication from upper management.

Pros: I worked in Groupon Shared Services for almost 3 years.
Great atmosphere; team leaders and colleagues are available to help.
Great balance between work and life, with the possibility to work from home.
There are many possibilities to move to other internal positions.
Cons: No cons. Sometimes the internal communications is confusing, but I think that's normal because it's a big company.
