Initial 30-minute call with the SRE manager. He is good at SRE, and it went very well.
The second round was with the infrastructure team, who did not have any knowledge of SRE and only concentrated on what they knew. This was simply a waste of the candidate's time in the name of an interview.

Pros: Compensation is fair. The company and management do a good job at recognizing and rewarding the individuals that consistently deliver high-quality work.
Cons: I used to say that everyone I work with is brilliant and that I have a lot to learn from them. In the last 4 years, I have started to wonder where all those people went and why we hired so many underwhelming people to replace them.
