Pros: Guidewire is building enterprise software for insurance, and it is transforming the industry. It leverages the technology required to adapt to market evolution and customer demand.
It is going through phenomenal growth and is the market leader. It is entering a phase where it is transforming the industry even further, leveraging the latest software technologies needed to achieve this goal.
I am amazed by the technical talent this company has and by how long they have been working here. Guidewire combines exciting work with good work-life balance.
Cons: Most of the current applications use a proprietary framework built on top of standard Java libraries. Some of it is open source.
