Process
The interview process included:
- Initial phone interview with HR.
- Technical phone interview with a local resource.
- A code test, a 3-4 hour assessment of general coding skills.
- Three 1-hour, face-to-face interviews.
The process was very rigorous and thorough. Although a lot of time was invested personally, it felt worth it. The process gave me confidence that the company was selective in its hiring, and that the entire team would be stronger because of it.

There were a number of questions around JMS and Java best practices.

Pros: Flexible time. Work from home schema.
Cons: 1. Boring technologies are applied in most departments, including GSC, SE, PE, and CE.
2. External management, like CEOs, are hired rather than promoting people internally. (More than 80% of the management in the Cloud team were hired externally last year.)
3. Most people are playing games or watching Netflix in the office, with yearly increments of 3000 - 5000.
4. With or without promotion, you will be getting 3000 - 5000 increased anyway. This encourages people not to work.
5. Overtime work is not appreciated.
6. Low salary, as 3000 - 5000 salary increases per year with or without promotion.
7. The senior management does care about the years of service, while the junior management said they don't care.
8. They try to say they have a lot of cash in the bank for every company meeting, but never increase salary.
9. Terrible company structure and messy titles/positions with no standard.
