A recruiter (a Gusto employee, not third-party) contacted me to ask for an initial phone conversation. Although I wasn't actively looking for a role, the description sounded quite appealing, and the company had excellent reviews, so I engaged with the recruiter.
After agreeing to an initial call, I heard nothing for a week. At that point, I received an email apologizing for the non-response (the follow-up email had "been left sitting in drafts by mistake") and requesting a call the next day during work hours, which I agreed to.
I left work early the next day to facilitate the call, but received no call and no email explaining the situation. I emailed the recruiter withdrawing myself from consideration and didn't receive even an acknowledgment.
Poor experience.
No questions. The process was a waste of time.
