I had a phone screen with an HR representative, which went great.
A subsequent phone/video screen was scheduled a few days later. This interview started and ended poorly.
About a day after this experience, I received an email stating they were not interested (surprise surprise) and asked me not to reply with any questions or follow-up. That was not my intention, but it came across as more than a little rude, especially given the experience I had just had.
I would not recommend subjecting yourself to this process. I am surprised at how much of a time waste this was, given the positive things I had heard about the company. I am willing to admit that I am not a perfect engineer and that not every role is a good fit, but this seemed to be a blatant waste of time and demonstrated an apparent lack of care and disrespect for my time and theirs. Gusto, you are not putting your best face forward.
