Pros: There are some great colleagues, a useful product, and a decent work-life balance.
Cons: Leadership decided generative AI is the solution without defining the problem. The answer to everything is AI, and the CEO says you should leave if you don't want to champion AI. It would be a great place to work for someone who wants to do everything in AI, but it is demoralizing for those who care about code, craft, quality, actually engaging with interesting problems, and humanity in general.

Pros: Compensation is okay, and there are good people.
Cons: Forcing crafts to overlap has destroyed momentum, as PMs and design are forced to code. When vision and direction are needed more than ever, they seem to be evaporating quickly. Things just feel harder to achieve than ever.
