The CEO overrules decisions and trumps his entire management team's opinions. I was not on the "staff" team but, as an outsider observing their interactions and the way decisions were made, it was horrifying that one person can be so self-absorbed. Also, the People Team has zero power.
Stand up to the CEO or speak with a trusted board member. Otherwise, it's a waste of time and talent to work for a leader who hinders your growth and impact.
