Product Education Engineer Interview Experience - Vancouver, British Columbia

Process

I went through 6 rounds of interviews and 2 written assignments. I first applied for a lower-level position, but then my application was upgraded to a more senior position.

Hashicorp offered me the job. They literally said that they could not wait to hire me and that I excelled in all the interviews. Four days later, they rescinded the offer. The reason given was that I did not follow the assignment instructions properly. I found this strange because the assignment was perfectly executed, so the real reason must have been different.

Hashicorp is known for ghosting people. Read the reviews. Be very careful when giving this company 15+ hours of your time. The worst part is that I allowed them to contact my references, both of which were reputable industry individuals. Do not take Hashicorp's word seriously. The whole principles talk is plain garbage.
