Pros

Mission: The mission is wonderful and attracts coworkers who are deeply passionate about the space. Everyone is very friendly.

Impact: The app has an incredibly strong brand presence. People will learn you work for Headspace and start telling you how impactful the app has been in their lives.

Mind Days: Every other Friday is off. A 10/10 benefit, it is a major reason for retention, I'm sure.

Cons

Below Market Rate Salaries: Like many places with strong missions, management can get away with paying low salaries because people want to work at Headspace.

Product Leadership: No strong higher-level direction. I think there is a fear to “tarnish the brand,” so they are hesitant to commit. Often abruptly dropping projects and changing directions… until the next one.
