I was reached out to through LinkedIn by a recruiter. The recruiter called me to explain the opportunity more. Then, I had a CodeSignal interview with an engineer a few days later. The Python DateTime library and I have beef, so I botched the interview. But everyone was really nice throughout the process.
The only thing that made me uncomfortable was when I learned about the onsite interview. I never made it to this round, but one of the interviews of the onsite session asks you to draw and explain a project you've led in detail (must be from the past 2 years). You're expected to draw the architecture in a diagram. I wasn't comfortable with this, considering I've only worked on projects through my work over the past 2 years and I've explicitly signed agreements saying I wouldn't share my work with outside sources. I was confused about the purpose of this, considering there is also a separate system design interview as part of their onsite process.
