Cons: A bit intense, but hey, we want to actually make an impact. When people care, things usually get a bit intense :)

Pros: This company really cares about creating a mental healthcare system that is accessible and easy to navigate. Everyone here is very mission-driven, and the work you do is very impactful. There is not a day where I don't feel fulfilled in my work. The team is amazing and incredible. Everyone here is extremely friendly, empathetic, hardworking, collaborative, and so wonderful to work with. Everyone I have worked with will take the time to help you or mentor you if needed. There are also so many opportunities for you to learn, grow, and explore other career interests. Headway definitely invests plenty of time into creating a top-notch culture. Work-life balance is decent. No one is on top of you about your hours as long as you make meetings and do the work that you need to do to get things done. There is unlimited PTO and plenty of really fun after-work activities such as happy hours, volleyball leagues, soccer leagues, and etc. Even though most of our roles are remote-based, the company puts in extra effort to bring people together without enforcing a return-to-work policy, which is literally the best thing. We even have a super fun yearly offsite where we get to meet other Headwegians that we don't normally work with. I absolutely love working at Headway, and I love my team in engineering. I've been here for a long time, and I still don't see myself leaving anytime soon :)

Cons: Headway is a startup, so it is growing rapidly and things do change pretty quickly and often. It's extremely important to be understanding and highly adaptable to the new demands.
