Pros: Potential for a competitive salary.
Big company, so room for career advancement.
Cons: A lot of bureaucracy (which varies from program to program and team to team).
Some very poor middle and upper leadership.
Engineering principles never seem to be a priority.
Deadlines are often the first decision about a product, even before scope is ever considered.
Benefits continue to shrink each year.

Cons: Not your father's company. Management has been cutthroat in decisions to move things offshore or just leave that business segment. They prefer to buy technology over developing in-house. Layoffs on a regular basis.
