Cons: Not many; if I had to nitpick, it would be around the typical startup growing pains. Some things seem a little unorganized, which comes with scaling, but overall, no complaints.

Pros: Everyone really wants to help you succeed here, and there is good energy all around, and big celebrations of each other's wins! I'm learning fast and can feel the growth, and there's a lot of nice decisions that went into building the company and product that makes building on top of it nicer.

Cons: Not at the moment so far!

Pros: Users love our product, and we've hired great engineers, and the company feels like a community. We're solving new problems every day, big and small, and constantly shipping valuable features. Nothing feels better than building a feature that users need and turning those users into happy customers. Our engineering team has a great culture of pragmatism and effectiveness: keep it simple, and ship it, and iterate. Don't over-engineer. We collaborate directly with other teams and customers. I'm regularly impressed by my colleagues' initiative and ambition to improve our product and processes. We're a remote-first distributed team with flexible hours, unlimited PTO, and optional in-person workspaces and events, which I've loved. We're trusted and empowered to do our best work.

Cons: The work is fast and often unstructured, and priorities change fairly often. Working at a growth-stage startup is not for everyone, but it's much less risky than some perceive. The real risk is wasting your time at big tech and missing out on a high growth opportunity.
