Pros: HubSpot moves fast and invests in its people. While at HubSpot, I have seen a massive effort to improve internal tools and to ensure people have what they need to get the job done. You are able to make a large impact because you are responsible for what you do and you own the things you are working on.

Cons: Things can get hectic very quickly as things move fast. If you aren't into that, it could be an issue.

Pros: Hubspot has a very transparent culture. People work hard and party hard! The company paid a lot of effort in promoting diversity and gender equality.

Cons: 401k much is really low, only 2500.

Pros: Very fun office (pre-COVID), great culture with great people, interesting and challenging work, flexible work schedule, unlimited vacation.

Cons: Could use more transparency around salary bands and criteria for promotion. There is uncertainty about career growth once you hit senior. The company switched to a remote-first mindset after I started. While this is a plus for some, I personally very much value an in-office experience, and that has since been put on the back burner, not just because of COVID. Teams own too many features and don’t have enough capacity to do it all. The grass is always greener on the other side though, and I think these are problems other tech companies face as well.
