The interview process consisted of the following stages:

• Online assessment
• 15-minute call with HR focusing on behavioral questions
• Two 1-hour, back-to-back interviews covering JavaScript and Algorithms. I was asked about my preference between JS and System Design for the interview.
• A 10-minute feedback call followed by an offer.

Overall, the interviewers were very nice, and I had a great pleasure talking to them. The experience felt more like pair programming. HR was also very considerate, always answering my emails within a day and setting up a preparation call before the technical interview. I could truly feel that they wanted me to succeed.

The timeline from the home assignment to the offer was more than a month.

• Tell me about a time when you gave feedback.
• Tell me about a time when you received feedback that was unpleasant.
• Tell me about a time when you had to explain something technical to another person.
• Tell me about a time when you had deadlines and how you managed them.
• Tell me about a time when you made a mistake.

1st interview (45 mins JS + 15 mins behavioral):

• Closures
• Prototypes
• Rest parameters
• Spread parameters

2nd interview (45 mins for one algo task + 15 mins behavioral):

• Leetcode level easy
• Find the most commonly occurred substring of string k.
• Make sure to test and optimize everything.
• Also discussed my previous work experience, projects, and courses I took.
