Pros: - Comfortable working environment
- Flexible worktime
- Good relation with colleagues being in the same location
- F2F connections empower your possibilities (networking is the main lever)
Cons: - Compensation is very low.
- IBM sites feel they need to compete, which makes it hard to achieve goals globally.
- The way of thinking on a company level is still old-structured (fighting for power), however, some executives have started to fight against that.
- You can easily get stuck in your actual role. There is no real motivation to move forward, nor are there opportunities.

Pros: It is a large company, so there are a lot of 'potential' opportunities.
Cons: The company's focus is on cost: bid low and then cut as much cost as possible to meet the contract. The main cost on any contract is people.
They are ruthless in their utilization of human resources. If you work for them, it will be a constant battle to keep your job.
If you work for them, the laptop you sit in front of is an asset; you are a cost.
Sadly, they are no different from many large companies.

Cons: Some projects may be poorly managed.
