• Compensation is very low.
• IBM sites feel they need to compete, which makes it hard to achieve goals globally.
• The way of thinking on a company level is still old-structured (fighting for power), however, some executives have started to fight against that.

There should be a common understanding of strategy on all management levels. Managers should leave their fights against the new wave and embrace knowledge sharing.
