Process

Disappointing Interview Experience with Such a Big Firm

There were a total of 3 rounds:

  • HackerRank test
  • Technical interview
  • Manager round

After getting selected for the manager round, I was asked about my expected salary. He declined, stating it was not in their budget. The biggest disappointment wasn't that he couldn't offer the salary, but that when I received the call from HR for the first time, I had already mentioned my expected salary. If it wasn't in their budget, they should have directly said no. It would have saved a lot of time for both parties. This is truly unacceptable from a big firm like IBM.
