I had a very pleasant initial HR chat.
Afterwards, I was scheduled for an hour-long technical interview.
What I didn't expect was an arrogant, rude, and condescending interviewer.
The interviewer started with questions regarding a technology in which I had only non-professional experience (clearly stated on my CV). Even after I told him I hadn't used it in quite a while, he continued to ask about it.
Whenever I got a question wrong, didn't remember something, or speculated what the answer might be, he would visibly frown or cringe as if I were saying the most idiotic thing he'd heard all day. This created a very uncomfortable mood for really no good reason.
Then he asked some superficial questions, specifically about a design pattern and some other technology. He asked me how I felt about my AWS exam (I have an Associate cert), and then that was about it. The interview ended in 30 minutes.
Later, I was rejected for being too junior and not having enough AWS experience.
How was your AWS exam?
