Full Stack Software Engineer Interview Experience - Littleton, Massachusetts

Process

The interview process was very easy. I had interviews with two seniors (45 minutes each) and a 20-30 minute call with the hiring manager. It was barely technical and felt more like going through my background.

It took 7 days to get an offer, but I also had another offer from a different company. I counteroffered IBM, but they said the offer number they gave was fixed and they wouldn't negotiate even a penny. Instead, they focused on their "amazing" health insurance and other benefits, refusing to share more details about their health insurance, such as the monthly premium cost.

The fact that they wouldn't even negotiate a penny suggests they don't value their potential employees much. They make you feel like you are easily replaceable by other candidates.
