I was called for an interview for a specific project. HR did a really good job coordinating, but the interviewer lacked basic manners. He was not ready to accept any answers other than what he expected.
A firedrill started during the interview, and we were expected to vacate the building. I asked for his number to come back after 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, when I called back, he said he was still moving back to his place and asked to call after some time (the crowd had dispersed around 20 minutes ago).
When I called after another 30 minutes, he disconnected, and I received a call from HR telling me I didn't perform well.
Whether I performed or not, that deserves a respectful rejection. People who work at such organizations in senior posts lack some basic manners and assume they own the company. Any sensible person would value others' time.
Oops concept, explain to me with respect to this phone.
