Neutral ExperienceGot Offer

Process

Applied for a software developer internship position through IBM's recruitment webpage.

Had to complete a mandatory online "IPAT" test involving basic algebra (word problems) and pattern recognition (shapes and number series) before the resume would be approved.

Was contacted for an interview a week later. A technical supervisor conducted the interview (HR was not involved).

Questions asked included:

  • Basic Unix, Java, and SQL (as it was for a Java developer position)
  • Courses taken and general programming experience.

Received the offer two weeks later after one interview.

HR and EPIC (IBM internship program) handled the paperwork.

Questions

How to show all processes in Linux.

If I had to pick one, this is how.
